A Family Winery on Mount Vesuvius

Sorrentino is a family winery in Boscotrecase, on the slopes of Mount Vesuvius, southeast of Naples. We farm inside the area of the Vesuvius National Park, on volcanic sand and lapillo left by the eruptions of the volcano.  WHAT WE MAKE. Our core wines carry the Lacryma Christi del Vesuvio DOC, in Bianco, Rosso and Rosato, from grapes native to the volcano: Caprettone, Piedirosso and Aglianico. Alongside the wines we produce grappa, extra virgin olive oil and a grape-based skincare line.  RECOGNITION. Wine Enthusiast awarded 88 points to our 2017 Vigna Lapillo Bianco and 87 points to the 2012 Vigna Lapillo White. Vinous has reviewed our 2013 Vigna Lapillo Rosso.  VISIT US.
